Here I am

So here I am.
Jumping head first into the 21st century....FINALLY!

Yes, of course I have a cell phone, have learned to love and use texting, have a Facebook and Instagram account, and now have FINALLY started a blog. After hearing "blog" enough times, you'd think you'd be able to make a quicker inference as to what it meant and what it truly was...hmmmm...not really the case for me. All I know, and am guessing, is that it's like a digital journal. The leaders of the church...and YES, I am a Mormon...have long advised us to keep journals. I have in the past, but was never really that good at keeping a journal. I was often afraid of losing it after taking time to write about different important, or not so important, things.

I feared it'd fall into the wrong hands (I have 4 sisters and 3 brothers=8 CRAZY kids) and I especially feared being humiliated. Well, those days are done, especially since at my age (nearly 40), humiliation is common and often entertaining. I love to laugh! I especially love to laugh at myself and the crazy things I'm forced to endure as a wife and mother of 8!!! I don't have to worry about hiding my journal and keeping it private...I WANT TO SHARE! I want others to know that my life is not perfect, but that I am! LOL! :) Just joking...far from it! But I do have the perfect life for me! I want others to share in the hardships, rewards, and blessings I have received, and continue to receive, everyday of my life!
